Gareth Roberts is a luxury womenswear designer.

After graduating from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in Womenswear, Gareth was awarded a role as a designer at Vivienne Westwood before deciding to embark on his own label.

His eponymous label was founded in October 2010 and the label’s capsule collection, entitled “Veritas Temporis Filia–‘Truth, the daughter of time’, was launched in February 2011.
The distinctive women’s clothing brand is defined by structural garments with detailed cuts and sharp tailoring, complimented by soft, high quality textiles. The brand is also synonymous with lavish embellishment.
Gareth Roberts caters for a woman who doesn’t follow fashion trends – she sets them. She is confident, with a strong sense of original style and has an appreciation of high quality design.
Gareth was born August 11, 1984, in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. He grew up and studied there until he was 18.
Inspired by his great grandfather who worked as a tailor on London’s Savile Row, Gareth had set his sights on conquering the fashion world from a very early age. At six he was already adept with a needle and thread, creating ‘couture’ by sewing together his grandmother’s old bed sheets, and throughout his childhood he experimented with painting and drawing techniques which led him to a career in fashion.
After completing a Btec Diploma in Art and Design at Loughborough University, he was accepted onto the Fashion Design Womenswear honours degree course at Central Saint Martins, London. Gareth was selected to feature in the Central St Martin’s A/W ’08 press show at London Fashion Week. The brilliantly bold colours and brave use of textiles of the collection captured the interest of the media with his work being published in a number of the newspapers and magazines. The collection was also selected for L’Oreal’s ‘Talent Spotting’ Fashion Forward final showcase in September 2008. Gareth has also previously worked at Boudicca.
